Important Notes

The DXC SkiSparks page on the MyXC website gives details about the club and registering, but here are a couple important points:

  • We will cap registration to maintain a good skier to coach ratio. Register early!

  • This year, the DXC SkiSparks Club fees have been separated from Spirit Mountain Nordic pass costs to allow families to decide how to best purchase passes for their families.

    • Children Age 5 & Under?  Purchase a $29 SMRA Nordic Child Season pass  HERE

    • Children over 5 years old  who do not have a SMRA Nordic pass may pay the $35 registration lesson fee on the DXC MyXC registration page and then separately purchase a $40 SMRA Nordic pass specifically for the 8-week Ski Sparks session.

  •  Scholarships are available!

Coaches + Volunteers Needed

DXC SkiSparks is a volunteer run club. The success and affordability of this program comes directly from your contributions of time, energy, and talent. We are looking for coaches, junior coaches, assistant and sub coaches, sweepers, chalet parents, and more. There are lots of ways to help both on and off the snow!

Submit your application to volunteer on the MYXC Volunteer tab via the button below or contact us at DXCSkiSparks@myxc.org if you have questions.

Welcome Message from DXC SkiSparks Leader

Hello fellow skiers! As the DXC Ski Sparks Leader, it is a pleasure to invite you to join us for a fun ski season in partnership with the MYSL program! I first learned to ski just after finishing college while living in the peaceful northwoods. I had to find something to do, and cross-country skiing was the obvious choice, as I learned this is what we do here. It turns out, that is for good reason! Since learning to cross-country ski as an adult, I have enjoyed the snowy months of the year with such joy, both individually and with my family. I am looking forward to meeting you and your kids as we learn, create memories, and share the love of skiing together.
