Keep Duluth XC Up and Running
The ski season is winding down and we are already planning for the next one. The following new volunteer positions are open. If one of these opportunities for involvement interests you, please contact the board at info@duluthxc.com by April 15 (the sooner, the better).
Trail Work Coordinator:
This person will be responsible for coordinating several summer/fall work days on local ski trails. The coordinator doesn’t have to attend every work session—we have a list of members who want to do trail work and we need someone to organize them.
Volunteer Coordinator:
We have a database of members who have indicated that they want to help out with DXC events & activities. The volunteer coordinator will be responsible for contacting these members when volunteers are needed.
Publicity Coordinator:
This person will help publicize DXC events and activities through press releases, posters, etc. (Patti Harvieux will continue to maintain the website.)
Ski Pass Committee:
DXC is looking into the possibility of a City of Duluth Ski Pass. We need several people to help research this idea and develop a proposal.
“Art of Skiing” Grant Selection Committee:
We’re looking for several people to serve on the committee that will review grant proposals and select a recipient.
Board positions:
The board terms of Bryan French and Patti Harvieux expire this spring. Both Bryan and Patti intend to run again for another three-year term on the board. If you are interested in running, please indicate your interest by April 15.
