Wednesday Night Ski Results (12/5/07)
The season’s first Wednesday Night Ski Race and Tour was HUGE!
The temperatures were cold, but that didn’t stop the 20+ skiers from getting out to enjoy the massive early snow we have received.
The Lester Park lights were still only half-lit on Wednesday night, but the ambient light (or occasional headlamp) was enough for people to find their way around the trail [It sounds like the city has managed to get most of the lights re-lit, so have no fears about getting out there].
The timer (me) is still getting the kinks worked out. Because it was dark and I was working by headlamp, I think I may have missed a person or two coming across the line. Luckily, it sounds like we may have found some timing assistance for next week - most excellent.
Next week, we will be at Snowflake. See you there!

Just a few of the happy, cold finishers:

See you next Wednesday at Snowflake!
