Since 2004, the Duluth Cross-Country Ski Club (DXC) promotes healthy lifestyles, fitness, and fun through cross-country skiing by providing programs, informational resources, and special events to the community.

DXC CANDLE LIGHT SKI AND SOCIAL

POSTPONED DUE TO POOR CONDITIONS

 

Join DXC, the Duluth Area Outdoor Alliance, and several other partners and vendors for a fun evening under the stars and illuminated by candles at the Lester Park Ski Trails.

BANFF MOUNTAIN FILM FESTIVAL WORLD TOUR

January 12 & 13, 2024

The Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour returns to Duluth on Friday & Saturday, January 12 & 13 at the DECC Symphony Hall. This stop on the World Tour is hosted by the Duluth Cross Country Ski Club and proceeds benefit local community ski projects.

ADULT WINTER LESSONS

Starting January 2nd

 

DXC is excited to again provide Winter Adult Ski Lessons for both beginner and intermediate cross country skiers. These sessions will take place weekly on either Tuesdays or Thursdays.

DXC SKISPARKS

Starting January 7, 2024

DXC SkiSparks mission is to inspire a love of cross-country skiing to keep our children healthy and active.

 

Open to children age 4 to 14, meetings are held Sunday afternoons January to February at Spirit Mountain Nordic Center.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT SKI RACE SERIES

Wednesdays @ 6:30 p.m.

 

Back for another season, these races are open to both the beginner skier and seasoned racer. Racing will begin as soon as we have snow, and continue each Wednesday until February 21, dependent on snow conditions.

The Duluth area is home to miles of world class cross-country skiing. There are dozens of trails for you to explore, as well as resources and opportunities for you to enjoy all winter has to offer.

LOCAL TRAILS

Within the City of Duluth limits there are a total of 55 miles (88k) of Cross-Country Ski Trails!

In addition to the City of Duluth ski system, there are dozens of miles of trails throughout the region including Cloquet, Carlton, Superior, Two Harbors and beyond.

SKI PASSES

Your ski pass fees directly supports Minnesota's cross-country ski trail system. All City of Duluth Trails and Minnesota State Parks require a Great Minnesota Ski Pass, other privately owned trails require their own passes. Click the link below to make sure you have the appropriate passes.
