Post-Flood Trail Reconstruction: Lester, Chester

Many trail work days are scheduled for the next few weeks, including opportunities at Lester & Chester. For the complete list click here.

• Lester Park: Sat. July 14, 9-12pm & Wed. July 18, 4-7pm – Volunteers needed to help disperse gravel and top soil along the lower flood-damaged Amity hiking and ski trails at Lester Park. Meet near the playground. Bring a wheelbarrow if you have one.

• Weed Whacking at Lester Park: Tuesday, July 17, 5-8pm. Meet at the main parking lot off Lester River Road.

• Weed Whacking at Chester Park: Tuesday, July 31, 5-8pm. Meet at the main entrance to Chester Bowl.

Tools will be provided; bring own weed whacker and other tools if available. Dress for the weather; bring sturdy shoes, water, eye protection, and gloves.
