Trail Volunteers Needed at Spirit Mt.: Saturday Oct. 1st
DXC is looking for volunteers to help clear logs from the Spirit Mt. trails so the City of Duluth can mow there next week.
Work sessions are scheduled Saturday, October 1, from 9am-noon and 1pm -4pm.
If you can help, please RSVP to info@duluthxc.com and indicate AM or PM.
We already have some folks with chainsaws, and we could use a few more, but people without chainsaws are also welcome.
Thank you!

Have you thought about starting a DXC Page on Facebook? It’s a great way to post events, in fact I pretty much rely on it to let me know what’s going on around town…
Hi Rondi.
Actually, we’ve been talking about this very idea at the past few board meetings. We will be rolling something out on Facebook in the next few weeks.
Stay tuned!
We had a good weekend at Spirit and great weather for the work. Thanks to Dave Larson, his friend Chris, and Joe Ostazeski for the morning shift of chain-sawing Saturday, and to Roger Petry for brushing and pruning the 1K and 3K trails both Saturday and Sunday. Brian Bich and myself rounded it out with chain-saws in the afternoons Saturday and Sunday. Darren should have no problem mowing the trails this week if he can avoid getting stuck in the wet spots!
Thanks trail volunteers!
