Monday (9/12/11) Adult Fall Practice:
Skate rollerski – Lakeview Cov. Church (meet in back corner of parking lot).
Meet at Lakeview Cov. Church at the corner of Jean Duluth and Glenwood at 5:30pm.
Bring:
- skate (or combi) boots
- skate (or combi) poles (if you can stop by Ski Hut or Continental and get some rollerski ferrules…definitely recommended for rollerskiing as you will wear down your snow tips very quickly)
- rollerskis (I’ll have extras if you don’t have any)
- helmet
- gloves are recommended
- neon vest or shirt (i have extras if you need to borrow one)
- water/sports drink
We will do some technique work in the parking lot to start, and those that have rollerski experience can go out for a short ski up Jean Duluth Rd. The rest will stay back with me at the parking lot and keep working on the basics. We will then do some technique/strength drills on rollerskis on some of the nearby neighborhood roads.
Any questions just shoot me an email at skirunbikelive@gmail.com, or call me at 651-226-2844

Hi Craig. I really enjoyed our first meeting. I would like to offer a safe rollerski place–its called the Maintenance Base area. You go north on Rice Lake Road and turn Left on Martin, then another left on Stebner. It is a 1+ mile road with minimal traffic. It could accomodate skiiers of different speeds nicely with you coaching in between…I go there to rollerski–no hills, though.
I am scheduled later tonight at work, but will do my best to get to the church by 530.Thanks, Laurie Ash
